Connect Sage to WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento or a B2B trade portal, so online orders land in Sage on their own and the shop shows Sage's real stock and prices. Fixed price from £6,000.
Book a Free CallMost UK businesses we speak to that run Sage have the same routine. Someone prints or exports the day's web orders and keys them into Sage, then updates stock on the website by hand, usually once a day and usually from a spreadsheet. It works until the shop gets busy. Then orders get missed, the site sells stock you do not have, and trade customers see the wrong prices.
A Sage integration takes that job away. Sage stays the master for products, stock, prices and customers. The shop or portal reads from it, and every order goes back into Sage as a sales order or invoice without anyone touching it.
Sage 200 Standard and Sage 200 Professional both offer the Sage 200 API, a REST API that we use for products, stock, customers and sales orders. For on-premise Sage 200 Professional we can also work through the Sage 200 SDK when a process needs it, and read reporting data from the SQL Server database where that is quicker and safe. We never write straight into the Sage database; writes go through Sage's own business logic, so your ledgers stay correct.
Sage 200 sites are often customised by a Sage business partner. We work alongside your partner rather than around them, and agree up front which side owns which fields.
Sage 50 Accounts is a desktop product, so the integration runs as a small connector on the PC or server where Sage is installed, using Sage's own Sage Data Objects interface. It picks up orders from the shop, posts them into Sage, and sends stock and prices back. If that machine is switched off overnight, orders queue safely and are posted when it comes back.
On Sage 50 Accounts Professional, web orders arrive as sales orders so your team can pick and despatch them as normal. On editions without sales order processing, they arrive as invoices. We check your edition and version during the discovery call.
There are good off-the-shelf Sage connectors, and if one covers what you need it will usually be cheaper. We will tell you that on the call. Bespoke makes sense when the standard tools stop fitting: trade prices that follow your own rules, several shops or warehouses feeding one Sage company, custom fields your Sage partner added, or a B2B portal that has to show live account data. Then you get an integration built around your process, and you own the code.
The same way we build every ERP integration: a small middleware service between Sage and the shop, every write queued so an outage delays data instead of losing it, idempotent posting so a retry never creates a duplicate order, and validation that stops bad data at the door and alerts a person. Read more in why every cross-system write belongs in a queue, or see a delivered project in the warehouse ERP integration case study, which cut order processing time by 65% in six weeks.
A focused Sage integration covering products, stock, prices, orders and customers starts from £6,000 and usually takes 4 to 8 weeks. You get a fixed price after a one-hour discovery call. We work with businesses in London, Reading and across the UK, and the work runs remotely against a test copy of your Sage company.
